Event details

This is a 7-hour timed running event held at Wraysbury Skiff & Punting Club, Egham, TW20 0AE. Entrants may run any distance they choose within the 7-hour limit; the minimum recorded distance for a finisher is 3 km. The event is limited to 300 entrants. Entries close 04/06/2026. Minimum age to enter is 12 years. Anyone wishing to run over 45 km must be 20 years or older; 18 and 19 year olds may run up to 45 km only. Transfers are available online for £2.50 up to the day before the event. A deferral to another event is available for £18 if arranged before this event. Entry fees listed are Affiliated £25.00 and Unattached £27.00.

Course and facilities

The course runs along a stretch of the River Thames and is fully signed. Surfaces are mainly well-made paths and tarmac with a very short grass section; road shoes are suitable year round. A full lap is stated as 4.37 miles or 7 km, though the loop may be changed to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions and approvals.

There is an aid and drinks table at the start/finish of each lap with a selection of savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese and vegan items. Toilets and changing facilities are available at the race HQ, which also has a cafe. Bag drop is unmanned and items are left at the participant’s own risk. Headphones are allowed. Medals are awarded to all finishers who complete 3 km, and goody bags (including a vegan option) are provided. Distance pins are issued for half-marathon and longer distances.
