ATW Watford Half Marathon & 10K
The event takes place on Sunday 7 February 2027 at Cassiobury Park Avenue, Watford, Hertfordshire. It includes a family fun run, a 10K and a half marathon organised by Active Training World. Entry fees range from £14 to £38.
The 1.8 km family fun run stays within Cassiobury Park; under 8s must be accompanied by a full paying adult. The multi‑terrain 10K departs with the half marathon, follows traffic free roads, then moves onto the Grand Union Canal towpath for about 3 km and finishes via woodland trails near event headquarters. The 10K has no cut off time and entries are limited.
The half marathon uses fully closed roads through nearby country lanes, passing Bucks Hill, Commonwood Common and Chandlers Cross before returning to Cassiobury Park. There is a cut off of 2 hours 45 minutes at the 11 mile point because roads will reopen. The half marathon includes the Hertfordshire Senior championships for eligible local athletes who must confirm eligibility at registration.
Additional event features listed by the organiser include a lead car and cycle escort, pacers for both distances, a Racecheck Gold Award, musical entertainment, finish line goodies and a unique medal, free professional photos, a professional commentator, a vibrant event village, and a £2000 spot prize for one half marathon entrant.
