Event overview
The ATW Watford Half Marathon, 10K and Fun Run takes place on 1 February 2026 at Cassiobury Park Avenue, Watford, Hertfordshire. The event includes an event village with stalls and activities, free professional photos, finish-line goodies and a unique medal. The half marathon earned a Racecheck Gold Award in 2023 and the course is led by a lead car. One half marathon competitor will be randomly awarded a £2,000 spot prize.
Races and course details
- 1.8 km Fun Run, held entirely inside Cassiobury Park; under 8s must be accompanied by a full paying adult.
- 10K starts with the half marathon field, then follows the Grand Union Canal towpath and woodland paths; no cut-off time for the 10K.
- Half Marathon follows fully closed roads and countryside lanes, passing Bucks Hill, Commonwood Common and Chandlers Cross before returning to Cassiobury Park; there is a cut-off of 2 hours 45 minutes at the 11 mile point.
The half marathon includes the Hertfordshire Senior county championship eligibility requirement: born in Hertfordshire or resident for nine months, to be declared during registration. Pacers will be available in both the 10K and half marathon and will carry flags.
Practical information
Prices listed for the event are: Fun Run £12; 10K £26-£28; Half Marathon £34-£36. The organiser’s transfer policy allows entry transfers to a future ATW event up to 48 hours before the event; refunds and transfers to another person are not offered. There is no organised parking at Cassiobury Park; parking is available in Watford town centre and public transport options include rail and bus.
