Event
The ATW Watford event takes place on 1 February 2026 at Cassiobury Park Avenue, Watford, Hertfordshire, WD18 7HF. It is organised by Active Training World and includes a Half Marathon, a 10K and a Family Fun Run. Entry prices listed range from £12 to £36. The event village will include stalls, musical entertainment and a professional commentator. Free professional photos, finish-line goodies and a unique medal are provided for finishers. One Half Marathon runner will be chosen at random to receive a £2000 spot prize. The event earned a Racecheck Gold Award in 2023.
Race details
- 1.8 km Fun Run (stays within Cassiobury Park; under 8s must be accompanied by a full paying adult)
- 10K (traffic-free, joins Half Marathon route then follows Grand Union Canal and woodland paths; no cut off time)
- Half Marathon (fully closed roads with rural lanes; passes Bucks Hill, Commonwood Common and Chandlers Cross)
The Half Marathon features Hertfordshire Senior championship prizes; eligibility requires birth in Hertfordshire or nine months residency. Team scoring: men's teams score first four finishers, women's teams first three. Pacers will be available for the 10K and Half Marathon. A lead car will escort the field. ATW policy allows transfers to future ATW events up to 48 hours before the event; refunds and transfers to another person are not offered.
