The Sasamat Mudskipper Fresh and Salty B.C. Championships is presented by Canaqua Sports and is part of the Mudskipper Championship Series. The event takes place at Sasamat Lake, White Pine Beach and Belcarra Regional Park in Port Moody, British Columbia. It is scheduled for late September 2026.

Course and race information
The 20.0K SwimRun consists of alternating swim and run stages that include a freshwater swim in Sasamat Lake, runs through Belcarra Regional Park and trail sections (Woodhaven and Springboard), and saltwater swims near Cod Rock and Belcarra beaches. The 10.0K course also alternates swims and runs with multiple short stages. Open water swims use 1.0K loops in Sasamat Lake.
Swim caps are provided and must be worn for identification. Race numbers are applied on the upper back or shoulder of each participant. Wetsuits are optional but recommended; typical water temperature is listed as 60 - 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Washrooms and food will be available. There is no rain date; a delay or cancellation would occur only in the event of lightning. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
