Sasamat Mudskipper Fresh and Salty B.C Championships and Sasamat Open Water Swim
Presented by Canaqua Sports, this event takes place on September 27, 2026 at Sasamat Lake, White Pine Beach and Belcarra Regional Park in Port Moody, British Columbia. The program includes the Mudskipper Fresh and Salty B.C. Championships swimrun and an open water swim series.
The individual Mudskipper B.C. Championship is a 20.0 K swimrun that alternates freshwater and saltwater swims with trail running sections between Sasamat Lake and Belcarra Park. A shorter SwimRun Challenge of 10.0K is offered as an alternate distance.

Basic facilities will be provided on site, including washrooms and food. Organizers supply swim caps that must be worn for identification; participants will also have a number marked on the upper back or shoulder. Reported water temperatures range from 60 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit, so wetsuits are optional but recommended.
