About the race
The Saraland 8K and Fun Run is an annual road race organized by the Port City Pacers held at Amelia Park in Saraland, AL on April 17, 2027. A course map is provided by the organizer and packet pick-up and race-day registration are handled through the club.

Pre-registration is available by mail or in person at local running stores McCoy Outdoor, Run-N-Tri, and Fleet Feet until noon on the Thursday before race day. Online registration closes the Friday before the race. Early packet pick-up is held at the Port City Pacers clubhouse and packet pick-up is also available at Amelia Park on race day.
Fees include early registration discounts if completed before March 1, 2027. For the 8K pre-registered fees are PCP member $25, PCP member under 12 $10 (free if no shirt), non-member $27, and day-of-race $30 for everyone. For the Fun Run pre-registered fees are PCP member $12, non-member $15, and day-of-race $20 for everyone. A no-shirt option reduces the fee by $2. To guarantee a shirt, entry and payment must be submitted two weeks before race day.
The event benefits the Mobile County District Attorney's Domestic Violence Task Force. Awards are given by overall place, masters and grandmasters age categories, wheelchair divisions, walkers, and age-group top finishers. Food, music, and beverages are provided for participants after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
