Persil Sarajevo Half Marathon
The Persil Sarajevo Half Marathon is a long-distance running event held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The race covers a distance of 21,097 meters on a course that is described as fast and flat. The route is measured and certified by the IAAF and AIMS, ensuring an accurate distance for all competitors.
Participants start and finish at Marijin Dvor on Zmaja od Bosne Street. The course takes runners through various parts of the city, including Bulevar Meše Selimovića, Malta, Vilsonovo šetalište, and the Grbavica neighborhood. There are seven refreshment stations positioned along the route at approximately kilometers 4.1, 7.0, 9.0, 10.7, 14.8, 17.6, and 19.6.
The event is open to male and female runners aged 14 and older. There is a strict time limit of 3 hours to complete the course. Runners who do not finish within this window will be marked as "Did Not Finish" (DNF) in the official results. The registration package includes a Dri-Fit shirt, a finisher's medal, official timing with a chip, race photos, and access to a concert.
