Persil Sarajevo Half Marathon
The Persil Sarajevo Half Marathon is a certified road running event held in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The race covers a distance of 21.097 km and is open to participants aged 14 and older in both male and female categories. The course is described as fast and flat, beginning and ending at Marijin Dvor on Zmaja od Bosne Street.
The route passes through several key areas of the city, including Bulevar Meše Selimovića, Malta, Azize Šaćirbegović, Vilsonovo šetalište, Ložionička, Topal Osman-paše, Zvornička, Grbavička, Zagrebačka, Vrbanja, and Franca Lehara. The course is measured and certified by the IAAF and AIMS. There is a time limit of 3 hours to complete the distance; participants exceeding this limit will be designated as DNF (Did Not Finish).
Seven refreshment stations are positioned along the track at the following intervals: 4.1 km, 7.0 km, 9.0 km, 10.7 km, 14.8 km, 17.6 km, and 19.6 km.
Registered participants receive a participatory pack that includes:
- A start number with a timing chip
- A Dri-Fit shirt
- A finisher medal
- Sponsors' gifts
- Access to race photos and refreshment stations
- Entry to a post-race concert
