About the race
A city road event in Porto offering a competitive 10 km race and a non-competitive 5 km walk, both with start and finish on Avenida dos Aliados. The 10 km route follows a detailed urban course through central streets and avenues; the 5 km walk follows a shorter city route that returns to Avenida dos Aliados. The event is organized by Runporto.com and Porto AntiStress Clube with municipal support. Entry is limited and paid; prices for the 10 km and 5 km vary by registration period and increase closer to the event.
Participant kits are distributed at designated collection points and only during specific days before the event; a valid identification document and the registration confirmation are required to collect a bib. The 10 km race is individually timed with an electronic chip provided in the kit and produces official individual classifications by gender. The 5 km walk has no classification. Aid stations are provided according to World Athletics norms and may be increased depending on temperature.
Medical assistance is available along the course and at event areas. The organizer holds compulsory sports insurance for participants.
