About the race
The Santa Shuffle Laconia is a festive 5K fun run and walk held in downtown Laconia on November 28, 2026. The course is an out-and-back that starts and ends at City Hall, and it serves as the kickoff for the Celebrate Laconia Lights Festival. Participants are encouraged to wear holiday costumes or festive clothing, such as Santa suits, elf outfits, reindeer gear, ugly sweaters, or other seasonal colors. The event is a timed race, but participants may walk or run at their own pace.
Prizes will be awarded to the top two finishers in each age group, and there will be raffle prizes during the event. The event is sponsored by Downtown Gym. Proceeds will benefit the Greater Lakes Regions Children's Auction and the Belknap Mill. Registration information provided by the organizer includes an initial registration opening on September 18, 2026, and an entry fee of $25 for the early period. A $5 increase applies after November 21, 2026, raising the fee to $35.
