Coastal Running in Santa Cruz
The Santa Cruz Westside Half Marathon is an athletic event featuring three different distances for participants to choose from:

The event is held in Santa Cruz, California, with a central hub located near 400 Beach Street. The course utilizes the coastal landscape, beginning near the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Runners follow a route along West Cliff Drive, which provides views of the Pacific Ocean throughout the journey.
The half marathon distance involves a course that leads to a turnaround point located along the bluffs of Wilder Ranch State Park. This section of the route is characterized by rugged cliffs and ocean vistas. After reaching the turnaround, participants head back along West Cliff Drive.
The race concludes with a finish on Cowells Beach. Organized by Adventure West LLC, the event allows for registration transfers and includes a store for participants.
