Santa Cruz Marathon : event description
The inaugural Santa Cruz Marathon is scheduled for October 25, 2026 in Santa Cruz, California. The event offers three distances: a marathon, a half marathon and a 5K. The marathon entry is listed as sold out with a waitlist; the half marathon and 5K are shown as part of the fourth registration release.
The route uses coastal roads, seaside streets and natural trails. The course begins along the historic Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, runs south through seaside areas and Capitola Village, then returns for a beachside finish.
