Santa Cruz Sunrise Rotary Firecracker Run
The 41st annual Santa Cruz Sunrise Rotary Firecracker Run takes place on July 4, 2026 at Harvey West Park in Santa Cruz, California. The event is organized by a volunteer group and directs registration dollars to local youth through the event's 2026 beneficiaries and the Santa Cruz Sunrise Rotary Foundation.
Runners can choose among three distances:
- 10K Thrill of the Hill
- 5K flat and fast 5K
- Kids 1K fun run for children
Registration for all events opens on February 1, 2026 and closes on June 1, 2026. Registration fees listed for the events are $40 for the 10K, $35 for the 5K, and $10 for the Kids 1K.
