Sandhills Trail & Ultra Festival : Sesquicentennial State Park
The Sandhills Trail Race Series is a multi-distance trail event held at Sesquicentennial State Park, 9564 Two Notch Rd, Columbia, SC 29223. The festival offers multiple race options over a looped course through pine forests and around a lake, with sandy trails, singletrack, some paved sections, and rolling hills. The event includes on-site camping and day-use access; the course passes through campsite areas.

Included with registration are a guided park tour, finisher medal, custom race bib, event giveaways, race photos, music and a post-race gathering, sample hydration product, and chip timing with split tracking. The event provides an easy-access personal aid station zone in an open field; aid stations may offer snacks such as pickles, cookies, chips, pretzels, water, Coke, and ginger ale. This is a cupless event; participants must bring their own hydration gear. Camping reservations and state park admission fees apply separately. Race awards include trophies for the top three overall male and female finishers and age-group medals for first through third places across defined age categories.
