The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Sand Creek Conservation District in Decatur, IL (3644-5198 S Franklin Street Rd). The race takes place on trails within the Sand Creek Trails of the Macon County Conservation District and is described as fast rolling terrain. Race profits will benefit the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.

Entry is listed at $35. The entry fee includes a long-sleeve technical shirt and a finisher medal; registering by September 1 guarantees a shirt. Packet pickup is planned for Friday, 9/11 (time TBA) and Saturday, 9/12 at Sand Creek Conservation District. Online registration is used; onsite registration during packet pickup may be allowed while space remains but race swag is not guaranteed for late registrants.
In-person participants are entered to win prize packages from local businesses. Prizes are awarded for overall male and female finishers and by age group.
