The 5K route goes through neighboring streets, follows the Middlebranch trail, and finishes on the monastery grounds where nuns will be present. A post‑race awards ceremony with refreshments and food is held at St. George’s reception hall. Strollers are welcome and a free kids fun run precedes the 5K.
There is a shirt only option for those who wish to support the Poor Clares sisters without running or walking the course. All proceeds benefit the Sancta Clara Monastery and its renovations; donations are accepted. Registration is limited to the first 300 participants because of fire code regulations and parking.
Awards include a running nun medal for all finishers, overall top three male and female placings, and top three male and female placings in these age groups: 9 and under; 10–14; 15–18; 19–24; 25–29; 30–34; 35–39; 40–44; 45–49; 50–54; 55–59; 60–64; 65–69; 70 and over.
