Event overview
The Sancta Clara Monastery Nun Run is scheduled for October 17, 2026 in Canton, Ohio at St. George Byzantine Catholic, 1121 44th St NE, 44714. The event includes a main running event and a short kids' fun run. Proceeds will benefit the Sancta Clara Monastery and its renovations. Registration is limited to the first 300 participants due to fire code and parking.

The 5K course runs through neighboring streets, the Middlebranch trail, and finishes on the monastery grounds with nuns present along the route. A shirt-only registration option is available for supporters who do not run or walk the course. Strollers are allowed. Packet pickup is provided before the events. An awards ceremony with refreshments and food will follow at St. George’s reception hall.
Awards include a running nun medal for all finishers, top three overall male and female, and top three in age-group categories for male and female: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 & over.
