The event takes place in Canton, Ohio at St. George Byzantine Catholic, 1121 44th St NE, 44714. It includes two events: a 5K Run/Walk and a 100 Yard Kids Fun Run. Registration for the events opens on May 4, 2026. The 5K has an entry price of $27.50 and the kids run is free.
Course, logistics and awards
The 5K course goes through neighboring streets, the Middlebranch trail and finishes on the monastery grounds. There is a shirt-only option for supporters who do not run or walk. Strollers are allowed. Registration is limited to the first 300 participants because of fire code regulations and parking. All finishers receive a running nun medal. Awards include top three overall male and female finishers and top three in multiple age groups for both sexes. An awards ceremony with refreshments and food follows at St. George's reception hall.
