5th Annual San Mateo Color 5K

The event takes place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the College of San Mateo campus, 1700 W Hillsdale Blvd, San Mateo, California. It is hosted by the Rotary Club of Peninsula Starlight.

The event is open to everyone. Participants may run, walk, throw color, cheer on others, or donate. As participants move through the campus they are doused in environmentally friendly color, creating a color filled course experience.

All participants receive a commemorative Color 5K t shirt and a gift bag. Kids 7 and under are free.

Proceeds support local and national causes, including the Alzheimer’s Association, the San Mateo Foster City School District, and the Rotary Club of Peninsula Starlight Foundation.
