The San Diego Holiday Half Marathon & 5K takes place on December 20, 2025. The start line is listed at 14455 Penasquitos Drive, San Diego, CA 92129. The event offers two race distances:

Registration prices shown on the event page are $171.33 for the half marathon (including a $12.33 fee) and $75.26 for the 5K (including a $6.26 fee). Registration closes on December 19, 2025. Entry fees are non-refundable. Deferrals are allowed for a $35 fee. In the event of race cancellation or other changes, registrations may be transferred at no additional fee.
Course, expo and other details
The half marathon course starts on Penasquitos Drive in front of the Hotel Karlan (formerly the Doubletree Golf Resort), runs southwest along Carmel Mountain Road where the only notable hill is at mile 1.5, follows the 56 bike path, and finishes at Torrey Pines State Beach. The course has a net elevation drop of 711 feet along the bike path. An expo is scheduled for the day before the race at Road Runner Sports, 5553 Copley Drive, San Diego, CA 92111.
