Samson's Revenge
Samson's Revenge is a trail running event held May 22, 2027 at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado, on trails around 8,000 feet elevation. The course is mostly runnable singletrack with some mud and wet low spots.

The 25K and 50K use a lap structure that includes the same first lap plus additional laps; the 50K features 6,000 feet of elevation gain. Drop bag space is provided at the start/finish area, and the start/finish line also serves as an aid location for the longer distances. All races are cupless; runners must bring a cup or bottle or may purchase a reusable SpeedCup at packet pickup or race morning.
Aid and course marking The Bible Point aid station is hosted by the Estes Park High School Mountain Bike team and offers water, Tailwind, Coke, fruit, and packaged salty and sweet snacks. The course is marked with pink flags, reflective tree markers, and Running Wild directional signs. Marshals in pink vests will be posted at two key locations for the first two laps.
Safety and logistics The course crosses three dirt roads and two paved roads; runners should make eye contact with drivers. Expect other trail users and yield to horses. Give deer and elk at least 75 feet of space. Packet pickup is available Friday May 21, 4 to 6 pm at Estes Park Mountain Shop, and Saturday May 22, 7:30 to 8:30 am at the start line for those who cannot make Friday. Parking is in paved lots at the YMCA; runner parking is not allowed at the Boone Family Mountain Center.
Awards and gear Registered runners receive a Fractel hat, finishers receive SockGuy wool socks, and each entry includes a $29 YMCA day pass. Top male and female finishers in each event receive a custom award from Space Coyote Tattoo. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
