Samaritans Way Ultra
The Samaritans Way Ultra is an off-road trail event organised by U Prevail Events in partnership with Teesside Samaritans, based at Guisborough Rugby Club. The event follows the Official Samaritans Way route and offers solo and relay entry options. The published routes have been updated from the 2025 courses.

- 40 km Marathon Run
- 60 km Ultra Marathon Run
Profits from the event are donated directly to the Teesside Samaritans branch. The event materials state examples of how donations are used, including amounts such as £10, £25 and £44 toward different support services, and that for every £1 raised, 80p is spent on services and 20p on fundraising.
Included for participants are a finishers medal, event T-shirt, food and drink at the finish, fully stocked checkpoints, a fully marshalled route, medical cover on course and event support. A race permit is listed with the Association of Running Clubs - ARC 26/0031. Entry fees vary by distance, affiliation and booking period; published price examples range from mid‑£40s to mid‑£90s depending on category.
