Salute to Our Veterans 5K - Hoboken
The Habitat of Greater Newark Salute to Our Veterans 5K takes place on Sunday, October 18, 2026 at Pier A Park, 100 Sinatra Drive, Hoboken, NJ. The event is presented as a community 5K run/walk and welcomes participants of all ages.
The race marks Habitat's 40th year of building homes and supporting neighborhoods across Essex, Hudson, and Union Counties. It also serves to honor veterans while raising funds for Habitat's local programs. Activities supported by the event include building affordable homes, preserving homeownership through critical repairs, providing food security to local families, restoring vital identification documents, and connecting veterans, seniors, and families with essential resources.
Registration opens July 8 and closes October 16; the listed registration fee is $45. Sponsorship levels and associated complimentary registrations are published for organizations and include Soldier’s Medal Sponsor $5,000 (50 registrations), Service Medal Sponsor $2,500 (30 registrations), Finish Line Sponsor $1,000 (15 registrations), Awards Sponsor $1,000 (15 registrations), T-Shirt Sponsor $1,000 (15 registrations), Community Team $500 (10 registrations), and Local Business Sponsor $250 (4 registrations).
