Salt Seep Run 4th Annual
The Salt Seep Run takes place on September 12, 2026, near Indian Wells, Arizona at 17 Miles South of Indian Wells Chapter Navajo Route 6 Mile Post 2. The event offers multiple distances and includes on-site registration and check-in, parking with posted signs, and a welcome sign directing participants to the site.
Distances offered:
- 2 Miles free walk/run
- 5K (3.1 Miles) registration fee $20.00
- 10K (6.2 Miles) registration fee $30.00
Registration opens May 31, 2026 and closes in early September 2026 for the paid events; the free 2 Mile event has a later registration close date. All participants receive a t-shirt. Participants should bring a mobile or printed confirmation to complete check-in for bib and shirt pickup.
The 5K and 10K courses follow a loop on dirt roads with a generally flat profile, a couple of hills, and some sandy sections. There are four aid stations placed along the course. Water is available at approximately 1.25 miles, 2 miles, 3.5 miles, and 5 miles. To avoid course conflicts between events, the 10K will start before the 5K.
Cash prizes are awarded to the overall top three male and female finishers in each of the 5K and 10K events. Award plaques are given to the top five finishers by gender in those races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
