Strider Turkey Trot 5K - Saline County Striders
The Strider Turkey Trot is the third annual 5K run held in downtown Benton on November 21, 2026. The event is hosted by the Saline County Striders Run/Walk Club and uses a start location at the corner of Market and Sevier. Packet pickup is at 200 N. Market St., First United Methodist Church, Benton, AR 72015.
A portion of the race proceeds supports Saline Crossing Regional Park & Recreation Area Inc. That organization works to restore and preserve the historic 1891 Old River Bridge in Benton, develop public access to the Saline River and the Southwest Trail, and create a regional park and recreation area.
Participants who finish the race receive a finisher medal. The race awards medals to the first through third place finishers in the male and female categories. An exclusive event T-shirt is available for those who register by November 12.
