Salem Star Trax Night Race
The Salem Star Trax Night Race is a night time 5K run held at Sebo Stadium, located at 925 East Pershing Street in Salem, Ohio. The event is organized as a community race that benefits the Salem High School cross country and track and field programs and is sponsored by the Salem X-Tra Mile Club, Inc.
Online registration opens June 8, 2026, and early entries received by July 23 qualify for a reduced fee. Entry fee options include a standard entry with a shirt and a lower cost entry without a shirt. A higher fee applies for entries submitted on the day of the race. Fees are non refundable as stated by the organizer.
Awards are given across age groups for both male and female divisions. The top three overall men and top three overall women receive cash prizes and medals, with first place awarded $100, second place $75, and third place $50. Additional medals are awarded to the first three finishers in each age division with no duplication of awards. Age divisions include 10 and under; 11 to 14; 15 to 19; 20 to 24; 25 to 29; 30 to 34; 35 to 39; 40 to 44; 45 to 49; 50 to 54; 55 to 59; and 60 and over.
