Saints' Roost Run
The Saints' Roost Run is an out and back 5 km and 10 km event that starts and ends on the grounds of the Saints' Roost Museum in Clarendon, Texas. The museum hosts the run during the weekend of the 32nd Annual Charles Goodnight Chuckwagon Cook-off.
Distances offered:
- 5 km Out and back on brick, tree-lined streets past Donley County Courthouse
- 10 km Follows 5 km route with added views of surrounding ranch land
- Kids' 5 km Reduced price; under 14 must be accompanied by parent or guardian
Post-race refreshments will be available, and food and craft vendors will be onsite. A chuckwagon meal (chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, roll, beans, cobbler) is offered but requires advance purchase because quantities are limited.
The museum, music performances, and chuckwagons are part of the weekend activities. Seating is not provided on the grounds, so bringing a chair or blanket is recommended. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
