Saints' Roost Run : Clarendon, Texas
The Saints' Roost Run is an out and back running event held on the grounds of the Saints' Roost Museum in Clarendon, Texas, on 09/26/2026. The museum hosts the run during the weekend of the 32nd Annual Charles Goodnight Chuckwagon Cook-off. Both courses start and finish on the museum grounds.
The event offers these distances:
- 5K - out and back along brick, tree-lined streets passing the Donley County Courthouse.
- 10K - follows the 5K route with additional scenic views of surrounding ranch land.
Post-race refreshments will be available and there will be food and craft vendors on site. A chuckwagon meal is offered during the cook-off weekend; tickets for that meal must be purchased in advance because availability is limited. The weekend includes museum tours, live music, and chuckwagon displays. Seating such as a chair or blanket may be used for viewing and relaxing during the day.
