Event details
The Sadie Hawkins Shuffle 5K and Polar Plunge is scheduled for February 14, 2026, at Montgomery Whitewater in Montgomery, Alabama (1100 Maxwell Blvd., 36104). The program includes a 5K run and a Polar Plunge. The Polar Plunge is included with 5K entries. The event is presented by MAX Credit Union. All participants receive a 20% discount on ice skating and the ropes course at Montgomery Whitewater for February 14.
Logistics and registration
Entry options listed by the organizer and their prices are: 5K with Polar Plunge ($35), Polar Plunge with event t-shirt ($30), and Polar Plunge only without t-shirt ($15). Participants who register by February 2, 2026 are guaranteed an official commemorative race t-shirt and a post-race beverage; race t-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after that date. Race packet pick up is on Friday, February 13 at the Montgomery Whitewater main breezeway entry (adjacent to the Outfitter Store). The event will be held rain or shine; in extreme inclement weather the organizer may cancel the event for participant safety without refunds. Participants are reminded to bring a towel and a change of clothes. Results and awards for the 5K will be given on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
