Sadie Hawkins Shuffle 5K and Polar Plunge
The Sadie Hawkins Shuffle 5K and Polar Plunge is Montgomery Whitewater’s first annual event scheduled for February 14, 2026 at 1100 Maxwell Blvd., Montgomery, AL 36104. The event includes a 5K run and a Polar Plunge; the Polar Plunge is included with 5K entries.
Registration is offered in distinct options with published fees: the combined 5K and Polar Plunge entry, a Polar Plunge with an event t shirt, and a Polar Plunge only option without a t shirt. Registration by February 2, 2026 guarantees an official commemorative race t shirt and a post race beverage. The Polar Plunge only option has a separate registration fee of fifteen dollars.
Race packet pick up is scheduled for the day before the event at the Montgomery Whitewater main breezeway entry adjacent to the outfitter store. On event day the 5K is held before the Polar Plunge, followed by results and awards. Participants are advised to bring a towel and a change of clothes. All participants receive a 20 percent discount on ice skating and the ropes course at Montgomery Whitewater for February 14. The event is planned rain or shine; organizers reserve the right to cancel for participant safety in extreme inclement weather without refunds.
