Sad Monkey Trail Run

Sad Monkey Trail Run takes place on September 12, 2026 at Palo Duro Canyon State Park in Canyon, Texas. The course begins at the Mack Dick Parking Lot, follows the Kiowa and Upper Comanche trail loop, and returns to the same parking area for a total distance of 4 mile.

Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, September 11 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sad Monkey Mercantile, 9800 Texas 217, Canyon, TX 79015. Event shirts are only guaranteed for participants who register by 11:59 PM on Thursday, August 20.

Finisher patches are presented to all registrants who complete the course. Event proceeds and donations will benefit the Amarillo VA Suicide Prevention Program.
