Sackets Harbor Marathon & Half Marathon
The Sackets Harbor Marathon & Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, September 6, 2026, in Sackets Harbor, NY. Both races start and finish on Pike Road at the Madison Barracks Polo Field. The event includes a full marathon and a half marathon on certified courses that are Boston qualifying.

The course is an out and back route. The first four and last four miles run within the village of Sackets Harbor and along Lake Ontario. Runners cover several miles beside the lake before continuing onto country roads. The half and full share the first 6.55 miles of the route. The course includes rolling hills with gentle elevation gain and then returns toward the finish at the Polo Field.
Age minimums are specified: the marathon is open to ages 16 and up, and the half marathon is open to ages 13 and up. A $10 entry discount is available for military personnel, first responders, and front line medical workers.
