Rylee's Run/Walk 5K - Event details
Rylee's Run/Walk 5K is a live and virtual 5K event held at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex in Memphis, Tennessee on June 13, 2026. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation and posts results for virtual participants; virtual entries are not eligible for age-group prizes.
The run commemorates the life of an infant who was born at thirty-two weeks and passed away eight days later due to complications of premature birth. A family-established soccer tournament (started in 2010) and this 5K (started in 2012) raise funds for the Le Bonheur Children's Hospital Neuroscience Institute and NICU. Fundraising progress is shown publicly; the current total raised is $939.08 toward a $10,000 goal.
Registration options include adult and kids 5K entries, a spirit runner category for t-shirt-only participants, and a virtual participant category. Registrants who register by May 25 are guaranteed to receive a shirt at packet pickup or on race day. Shirt options include women's tech/drifit, super soft cotton, and unisex tech/drifit. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at Fleet Feet Memphis (4530 Poplar Ave) and on the event date at Mike Rose Soccer Complex (9000 E Shelby Dr).
