RVR Turkey Trot 5k
The RVR Turkey Trot 5k is a community event in Russellville, AR on November 28, 2026, that supports Main Street Mission. The program includes a 5k run, a 5k walk, a kids 1k fun run, and a virtual 5k option. Registration opens December 14, 2025 and most in-person registration closes November 27, 2026; the virtual option has a later closing date.
Entry fees vary by event. Regular registration fees listed by the organizer are $35 for the 5k run and walk, $15 for the kids 1k, and $40 for the virtual 5k. Some same-day registration will be available at a higher fee and shirts and medals are not guaranteed for same-day entrants.
Proceeds and donated items benefit Main Street Mission, which provides meals, groceries, clothing, furniture, and assistance with employment and housing. Participants may bring non-perishable food items; each donated item earns a raffle ticket. The organizer lists commonly needed pantry and supply items including coffee, creamer, tea, sugar, rice, dried beans, pasta, cooking oil, plastic wrap, Pine Sol, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, bleach, and aluminum foil.
Awards are planned for the top three male and female finishers in run and walk divisions and age-group awards are offered across multiple age categories beginning at 0-9 and extending through 80 plus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
