The 29th Annual Ruthie Dino-Marshall 5K is a community road race held on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the YMCA of Middletown, 81 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. The event includes a 5K Run, a 5K Walk, a Kid's Dash, a Student Run (open to ages 18 and under) and a vendor area called Ruthie Run Vendors. The race course is USATF certified (#NY15101JG). Registration is open through Race Day. The event is held rain or shine and there are no refunds.
Purpose and logistics
Proceeds benefit the Middletown School District Ruthie Dino-Marshall Memorial Fund and the YMCA's Strong Kids Campaign. The race honors Ruthie Dino-Marshall, a longtime YMCA instructor and community member, and is organized by the Ruthie Dino-Marshall 5K Committee. Race packet pickup is offered on the days immediately before and the morning of the event. The organizers recruit volunteers and vendors for race-day roles, setup and cleanup, and community outreach.
