Ruth Woods Fun Run
The Ruth Woods Fun Run is held in conjunction with the Richwood Independent Fair at Richwood Independent Fair, 1 Gill St, Richwood, Ohio. The event comprises a community 5K run and a 1 mile walk and supports the Richwood Civic Center.
Distances:
- 5K fun run; fee $40; registration 6/8/2026 to 8/7/2026.
- 1 Mile walk; fee $35; registration 6/8/2026 to 9/4/2026.
The registration fee for each event includes one fair pass for the day of the event. Passes will be mailed prior to the event or may be picked up at the fair entrance. For the walk, passes may also be picked up at Richwood Civic Center, 235 Grove St, Richwood.
Awards are offered by overall finish and by age group. A cash prize is listed for first place male and first place female. First and second place in each age group receive an event trophy. Age groups are 9 & under; 10-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 & over.
