RunWisborough 10k & 5k
The RunWisborough event celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2026, featuring a course that showcases the village of Wisborough Green in West Sussex. Both the start and finish lines are located in the village centre on the green. The event serves as a fundraiser for Wisborough Green Sports CIO, a registered charity that provides sports facilities for the local area.
The terrain consists mainly of flat-ish tarmac country lanes with some trail sections. Participants follow a scenic route through the local landscape, with distances organized as follows:
- 10k: Two loops of the course.
- 5k: One loop of the course.
- Junior Run: A Kids Colour Run on the green.
The event is open to runners of all standards. The 10k is open to entrants aged 15 and over, while the 5k is open to those aged 11 and over. Please note that there are no on-the-day entries for the 10k or 5k distances.
The Kids Colour Run is designed for younger participants, with one lap for children aged 4-7 and two laps for those under 11. This specific race is marshal-controlled and includes a wristband and paint for participants. Entries for the colour run can be purchased on the day.
Participants receive a bespoke medal upon completion, and trophies are awarded to leading runners. Facilities include a race village and car parking in a local field, which is subject to weather conditions. The nearest train station is Billingshurst, located approximately 3 miles from the venue.
