Run The Runway 5K - Niagara Falls
Run The Runway is a 5K road race held at Niagara Falls International Airport on August 15, 2026. The course is routed onto an active airport runway and starts and finishes on the tarmac adjacent to the terminal. The runway will be lit as the sun sets during the event.
Online registration is available up until race day. The entry fee is $35 with a higher fee on race day. Participants who register before August 5, 2026 at 9:00 AM are guaranteed an official event shirt in their requested size. The first 250 registered participants will receive a custom finisher medal. A limited supply of glowsticks will be provided while supplies last.
Packet pickup and race day registration occur inside the airport terminal. All participants must clear the TSA checkpoint and show appropriate identification before entering the runway area. No backpacks are allowed past the TSA checkpoint for security reasons. An early packet pickup option is planned the night before the event with details to follow.
Postrace provisions include light food provided by Brickyard Pub & BBQ and on site beer service; participants 21 and older may receive a complimentary beer. Net proceeds from the event will be donated to the Niagara Falls Boys & Girls Club. Professional RFID timing and real time results are provided by the race management company, with finish line photos and downloadable finisher certificates available.
