Event Overview
The Run/Walk to the Plate is an inaugural fundraising event in support of the Cobleskill-Richmondville High School Baseball Team. The event takes place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, in Cobleskill, New York. Race timing and finish-line services are provided by Clark Sports Center Events.
Distances
- 5K Run/Walk - The main event.
- 1 Mile Little League Fun Run - A shorter run for younger participants.
Course & Location
The scenic course goes around the Ryder and Golding School campuses. The event location is at the Modified Baseball Field near Ryder Elementary School at 143 Golding Dr, Cobleskill.
Registration & Fees
Registration for the 5K is $25.00 before March 14, 2026. It increases to $30.00 after that date, and a race T-shirt is not guaranteed for late registrants. Pre-registration for participants 12 and under is $15.00.
Awards
Overall trophies are awarded to the top male and female finishers. The top three finishers in various age groups, ranging from 12 & under to 70+, also receive awards.
Logistics
Packet pickup is available on the Friday before the race at the Cobleskill-Richmondville High School Cafeteria. Race-day registration and packet pickup are available from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the event site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
