Run/Walk to the Plate

Event details

The Run/Walk to the Plate is the inaugural 5K run/walk hosted by the Cobleskill-Richmondville High School Baseball Team. The course runs around the Ryder and Golding School campuses in Cobleskill, NY, with venue activity centered at Ryder Elementary School, 143 Golding Dr. Race timing and finish-line services will be provided by Clark Sports Center Events.

Packet pick-up is scheduled the day before at the Cobleskill-Richmondville High School cafeteria and on race day at the modified baseball field near Ryder Elementary.

Registration, fees and awards

Registered participants before March 14 pay $25 for the 5K; participants 12 and under may register for $15 in advance. After March 14 the 5K fee is $30 and a T-shirt is not guaranteed. Overall awards include a trophy for the top male and top female finishers. Age-group awards are given to the top three finishers in the following categories: 12 & under; 13–19; 20–29; 30–39; 40–49; 50–59; 60–69; and 70+.
