Unified Group Services Run/Walk for Cancer
The Unified Group Services Run/Walk for Cancer benefits the Ascension St. Vincent Anderson Foundation and supports the Ascension St. Vincent Anderson Cancer Center. All proceeds raised by participants and sponsors will benefit patients and families of the Cancer Center.
The event includes the following distances:
- 5K Run / Walk
- 1 Mile Commemorative Honor Walk
- 5K Run Kids Students
- 1 Mile Commemorative Honor Walk Kids Students
The venue is Harrah's Hoosier Park, 4500 Dan Patch Circle, Anderson IN 46013. Runners use a 5K course that starts a little back from the start and finishes at the start finish line to complete approximately 3.1 miles. Walkers follow a distance equal to a furlong's length, listed as 7/8 of a mile, around the Harrah's Hoosier Park track. Both walkers and runners remain on the horse track for the entire event. Walkers start after the runners and begin from the start finish line.
Participants may register as individuals or join as teams. A Jumbotron at the venue will capture participants during the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
