About the race
Cannock Chase Running Festival, held at Cannock Chase Forest in Birches Valley near Rugeley, is a RunThrough UK event within Cannock Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Runners choose from 5K (one lap), 10K (two laps), half marathon (four laps), plus a Junior Race. The undulating, mixed-surface course includes dirt trails, gravel and tarmac, with mile markers, helpers and signposts to keep you on track.
The event village, including the start and finish, is at the concert site. It supports Newlife – The Charity for Disabled Children. Included in entry are chip timing, a themed medal, free photos, water and post-race goodies; sustainability is emphasised; GPX route files are available.
