Chase the Moon Battersea Park 5k & 10k, February 2027
This event takes place at the Bandstand in Battersea Park, London, SW11 4NJ on 24 February 2027. Runners follow a flat, multi-lap route on the park's wide tarmac paths that is described as suitable for fast times. The course layout starts and finishes at the park bandstand and is easy to follow for participants and spectators.
Distances offered include:
- 5k, two laps on flat tarmac paths
- 10k, four laps on the same flat route
Entries include a themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results and post-race goodies. A secure baggage marquee is provided and bags are collected using a tag attached to the race number. Water stations are positioned on every lap, with a bottle of water available at the finish.
Minimum age limits are 11 for the 5k and 15 for the 10k. There is a 90 minute cut-off time due to park restrictions. The event features an event village with food and drink options and volunteers and marshals provide on-course guidance. Finish times contribute to national rankings and professional photographers record finish line images that are available to download free of charge.
