Runtastic DINO
The Runtastic DINO takes place in historic Vernal, Utah, an area known as Dinosaurland due to its proximity to a large quarry of prehistoric Jurassic dinosaur bones. The event features multiple course distances through the local landscape:
- Half Marathon 13.1 miles
- 5K
- Half Mile (Kids)
The half marathon course begins at the top of Dry Fork Canyon. It is designed as a downhill route that concludes at Uintah High School. Participants in the 5K start their run at Maeser Elementary School and also finish at Uintah High School. The half mile event is specifically for children aged 1 to 12 and takes place at Uintah High School.
Participants receive several items as part of their registration, including a finisher medal, a race shirt, a decal, and a temporary tattoo. The event is part of a larger series, allowing runners the option to bundle the race with other half marathons in Utah. All courses conclude at Uintah High School, which serves as the central hub for the finish line activities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
