Runtastic DINO - Vernal, Utah
Runtastic DINO is a running event in Vernal, Utah on May 9, 2026, with a finish area at Uintah High School (1880 W 500 N). The event includes multiple distances and a net-downhill half marathon that descends through Dry Fork Canyon with a 1,270 foot elevation drop surrounded by red rock and desert scenery.

Logistics include a mandatory bus transfer for Half Marathon runners from Uintah High School to the Half Marathon start; runners must show their bib to board. 5K parking is at Maeser Elementary with a return shuttle to the finish available. Race packets are distributed at an expo the day before at the Uintah Convention Center; a race day packet pickup fee applies near the finish.
Course support and services: professionally timed races with chip timing, multiple aid stations offering water, electrolytes, and GU at designated miles, porta-potties, first aid kits, and free race photos. A bag drop is provided at the Half Marathon start; unclaimed bags will be taken to the Runtastic office. Awards include overall and age group medals, Sprintasaurus awards for the fastest half-mile segment on the Half Marathon course, and free photos and post-race amenities at the finish.
