Runtastic DINO - Vernal, Utah
Runtastic DINO is scheduled for May 9, 2026 in Vernal, Utah with race activity centered at Uintah High School. The event includes multiple distances and awards, finisher medals, participant shirts, and post-race food and music in the celebration area.
The Half Marathon is a net downhill route through Dry Fork Canyon with an overall elevation drop of 1,270 feet. The course passes between towering red rock walls and desert scenery. The event is professionally timed using bib chips and also uses gun time for overall awards. Aid stations provide Re-Lyte, water, porta-potties, and first aid; GU energy gel is available at specific mile stations. Pace groups are available for a range of finishing times.
Logistics include a Race Expo and packet pick-up on May 8 at the Uintah Convention Center; day-of packet pick-up is offered for a fee at the blue Runtastic information tent near the finish. Half Marathon runners are required to board a bus from the high school to the start and must show their bib to ride; parking or drop off at the half start is prohibited. A bag drop is provided at the Half Marathon start and bags are retrieved at the finish.
