9th Annual Running with the Angels
Running with the Angels is a 5K event held in Bakersfield, California, dedicated to raising awareness for pregnancy and infant loss. The event honors babies lost too soon and serves as a fundraiser. All proceeds from the event are donated to the Noel Alexandria Foundation to help provide educational, emotional, and financial resources to families affected by these losses.
Participants can choose between two primary participation formats:
- 5K Run-Walk Live: A community event held at The Park at River Walk.
- 5K Virtual Run-Walk: An option for participants to complete the distance on a course of their own choosing using the RaceJoy app for audio cues and time tracking.
The physical course starts and finishes at The Park at River Walk located on Stockdale Highway. Registration includes different pricing tiers based on the date of entry. Participants who register by September 1, 2026, receive a commemorative sponsor T-shirt. For those registering after this date, T-shirts are not included in the fee but can be ordered separately through the event store. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
