Running Makes Cent$ 5K - Reinbeck
The event is a community 5K fun run and walk in Reinbeck, Iowa, held on July 4, 2026. The 5K is chip timed and is followed by a free kids dash. Registration opens May 24, 2026. Online and mail registration for the 5K closes June 25, 2026, and registration is also available on race day. Two 5K registration options are listed with different fees; one option does not include a t shirt.

Strollers and leashed pets are allowed on the course. Skateboards, skates, roller blades and bikes are prohibited. Pre race packet pickup is available on race day near the entrance to the Aquatic Center east of the baseball diamond. Parking is available near Elmwood Park and the baseball diamond.
Awards are given to the top two finishers in each age category for men and women. All registered participants are eligible for door prizes. Age groups for awards include 9 and under, 10 to 14, 15 to 19, then decades from 20 to 29 up to 70 and over. The event is coordinated by Gladbrook Reinbeck Dollars for Scholars.
