Event overview
Running for the Rescues is scheduled for March 29, 2026, at Claremont Beach in Long Beach, California. The event, produced by High Tide Runs, offers the following distances:

Course and logistics
Start location is listed as 5400 E Ocean Ave, Long Beach, CA 90803. The courses are out-and-back layouts: the 5k route is one lap for the 5k and two laps for the 10k; the 5m route is two laps for the 10 Miler; the Half combines two laps of the 5m route plus one lap of the 5k route. The beach path is an open course; runners should stay on the right side for pedestrians while the left side is for cyclists.
On-course support includes a fully stocked water station at the Belmont Pier and a finish-line aid station with water, Gatorade, gels, and fruit snacks. First aid kits are available at each station and crew members have received CPR training. Turns are marked with chalk, runner turn signs, and flags. Bibs should be worn on the front of the shirt. A gear check is available at the registration tent; participants must provide their own bag. Race results and photos are provided after the event, and race photos are free.
