About the race
Running for Frubbs is a 10 mile memorial road and coastal run taking place on Sunday 29 November 2026. The event is named in memory of Frank MacFarlane, known as "Frubbs", and supports two local charities: Headway Jersey and Jersey Stroke Support. Funds raised are shared equally between the two organisations. The course starts and finishes at Castle Quay on the Waterfront and follows a coastal out-and-back route from the Waterfront to St Aubin, returning via the Railway Walk.
The course is mostly level with one sustained climb beginning around mile four and peaking near mile six. A water station is located in St Aubin near Little Gem beach café. Entry for 2026 is £35 and includes a £10 minimum fundraising commitment. Entrants must be aged 18 or over.
Race-pack collection is scheduled for Friday 27 November 2026 at Rock N Road Run Co, Liberty Wharf, St Helier. A bag drop is available at Castle Quay with items left at the entrant's own risk. Entry terms note that there are no refunds or transfers and no name swaps. The event provides chip timing, an official T-shirt subject to the order deadline, a finisher medal, marked and officially measured course, online results, and an awards ceremony with trophies and refreshments.
