What & When

The Pheasant Challenge Day 1 is an eight-hour timed running event. It takes place on Saturday, June 13, 2026. The "TUGG" (Turn Up Get Going) system is in place. Participants can start any time between 7:30 and 14:30, but must be finished by 15:30.

Course & Format

The course is on an old, disused train line and is described as scenic, undulating, and off-road/paved. Each lap is 5.3 km out and back. Participants can complete as many laps as they can within the eight-hour window. The event is open to runners and walkers of all abilities.

Registration & Details

Entry closes on June 11, 2026. The maximum number of entrants is 70. The minimum age for participants is 18 years. All finishers receive a medal. A limited number of entries are available, and once capacity is reached, late entrants may receive a different medal option.
