Running Events Devon - Pheasant Challenge 2026 Day 1
Running Events Devon stages the Pheasant Challenge Day 1 at a new venue on Station Road, Bridestowe, EX20 4HF (///clots.insolvent.inclined). The event is an eight hour timed event run on an undulating, partly off-road and partly paved route that follows an old disused train line.
The course is an out and back lap of 5.3 km. Participants may complete multiple laps within the event duration; finishers receive a medal. The organiser operates a TUGG system (Turn Up Get Going) that provides an extended arrival window and a single permitted event duration for all starters. Entrants must be at least 18 years old.
Entries are limited to 70 participants and entries close on 11 June 2026. Price categories include affiliated and unattached options, with choices that include or exclude event perks such as a medal. The organiser notes local accommodation at the Fox & Hounds, which offers rooms, a bunkhouse and camping and on-site food.
