The Choo-Choo Challenge takes place on Monday 31 August 2026 at Station Road, Bridestowe, EX20 4HF. The event is a timed race with two separate start waves, each operating with its own time limit. Maximum entry is 70 participants. Entries close on 27/08/2026 and the minimum age is 18 years. Entry fees are listed as Affiliated £32.00 and Unattached £34.00. Finishers receive a medal.
Course and entries
The course is an out-and-back route on an old disused train line. Each lap is 5.3 km and the surface is a mix of off-road and paved sections with undulating terrain. Participants may complete as few as one lap or up to 14 laps within the permitted time; each lap returns to the same start/finish area. Places are strictly limited and, if capacity is reached, later entrants will be offered a bespoke medal selected from those available on the day.
