Running Events Devon - Choo-Choo Challenge 2026
The Choo-Choo Challenge is an 8-hour timed event taking place on Monday 31 August 2026 near Bridestowe (Station Road, EX20 4HF). The course follows a scenic out-and-back route along an old disused train line. Each lap measures 5.3 km on an undulating surface that mixes off-road and paved sections.
The event operates a "TUGG" system (Turn Up Get Going), which allows participants to start at any time on the event day provided they complete their final lap within the event's permitted finish cut-off. Participants may walk or run and are recorded by laps completed; those who complete at least one lap within the permitted time are classed as finishers and may collect a medal unless they have chosen a no-perks entry.
