About the Choo-Choo Challenge 2026
The Choo-Choo Challenge is an 8-hour timed event on Monday, 31 August 2026. It takes place on an old, disused train line in Bridestowe, Devon.
Participants can start any time between 07:30 and 14:30, but must finish by 15:30. The course is an out-and-back loop of 5.3 km per lap, described as scenic, undulating, and off-road/paved.
Runners and walkers of all abilities can participate. There is no minimum distance; participants are considered finishers and receive a medal whether they complete 1 lap or up to 14 laps within the time limit. Entries are limited to 70 participants.
Practical Information
The event is located on Station Road, Bridestowe (EX20 4HF). Participants must be at least 18 years old. Entries close on 27 August 2026.
Prices are £32.00 for affiliated runners and £34.00 for unattached runners. There are discounted "No Perks" options available for those not wishing to receive a medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
