Runnin' with the Nighthawks 5K & 1M Fun Run Timed Events
Runnin' with the Nighthawks features two timed running events held at 3990 West University Drive in Prosper, TX. Both races begin and end in the West parking lot of St. Martin de Porres Catholic School and follow courses on city streets and sidewalks within Windsong Ranch.

Timing and results are handled with chip timing attached to the bib; participants must wear their bib to be timed and eligible for awards. Results are posted at the event and are available live online via the QR code on the bib. There will be one water station along the 5K route.
Event amenities and rules include face painting, a bounce house, and other community activities. Dogs may participate for a fee and will receive a bandana; all dogs must be on leash. Bicycles, skateboards, and hoverboards are not permitted. Attendees are asked to use the east parking lot via the east driveway off Teel Parkway; the driveway off Windsong Parkway will be closed to vehicle traffic on race day.
Registration notes state that registrants who sign up by September 3, 2026 are guaranteed a T-shirt; later registrants may pick up T-shirts two weeks after the race. Packet pickup is scheduled for the day before the event, with times to be determined; packets may be picked up for other participants.
Awards are printed for timed participants on race day. Age groups are listed from 9 and under through 70 plus. The 5K awards top three overall male and female finishers; the 1M awards overall fastest male and female. Medals distributed on race day may be picked up at the results table after the event or at the school front office the following Monday.
