#runforDylan 5K, 1M Fun Run & Virtual : 6th Annual
The event takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Blanton Elementary School in Argyle, Texas. It includes an in-person 5K, a 1-mile fun run, and a virtual or "sleep-in" option. Parking is provided at Harpool Middle School, 9601 Stacee Lane, Argyle.

The event benefits the RunforDylan Foundation, which focuses on cardiac arrest awareness, providing heart screenings for athletes, and placing automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in local parks. The foundation has installed an AED at Southlakes Park and reports plans to place additional AEDs in nearby parks; outreach efforts are described as ongoing.
Registration includes an official race bib, a T-shirt for registrations received by October 17, 2026 (shirts are first-come, first-served thereafter), and a RunforDylan bracelet. Early-bird rates are available through October 17, 2026, and fees increase on race day. A packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, November 6, 2026, at Blanton Elementary.
Race amenities include cardiac arrest awareness education, vendors, and post-race awards. Awards are given by age groups from 10 & under through 70 & over, with plaques for overall male and female and master male and female categories. Live timing and results are posted after the race.
