Event overview
The event is a 10 km race called The Half & Half, held on 25 January 2026 at Sowerby Bridge Pool, Station Road, Sowerby Bridge, Halifax HX6 3AB. The course is run in one direction and is fully marked. The route is split into two halves: the first half is on rugged, muddy trails with obstacles, and the second half returns on tarmac road to the finish. Entries are capped at 100 runners. The organiser is Runable.
Practical information
The event is open to entrants aged 18 and over on 25 January 2026. The entry price is £21.00. An official Half & Half hoodie is available to pre-order as the event memento; hoodies go on sale from 5 November at £27.00, must be pre-ordered, will not be sold at the finish, and can be ordered until 10 January. Access by train is a short walk from Sowerby Bridge Station, approximately five minutes to registration. There is parking available close to the venue, including along Station Road.
