RUN519 - Community 5.19 km Road Race
RUN519 is the third annual community road race held at McHugh Park in Windsor, Ontario. The total course length is 5.19 km and results will include a 5 km split time for all participants. The course is described as flat and open to participants of all ages and abilities.
Proceeds from the event are split equally between the Windsor Youth Centre and the Windsor Essex Athletics Club. Registration options include advance entry and race day registration; race day registration is accepted for CA$60 in cash only.
Participants receive a commemorative RUN519 stainless steel tumbler and a custom bib number as part of their registration. Every finisher receives a commemorative medal at the finish line. The event uses chip timing and official results are based on chip time.
Prizes are awarded to the top three female and top three male overall finishers, and to the top female and top male in each age category excluding the overall top three. Age categories are U15; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 34-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 64-69; 70+, with age determined on the day of the run.
