About the race
Run Your City - Happy Valley is an evening trail event organized by Aktief Events in Bloemfontein, Free State. The event takes place on single-track trails at Happy Valley and is described as a technical route held at night.
Two distance options are offered:
- ~5.5 km technical single trail
- 7.5 km technical single trail
Walkers are welcome and the route is pet friendly when dogs are kept on a leash. Participants are asked to bring a headlight or torch for navigation on the night course. All finishers receive a collectable series token. A portion of proceeds is allocated to the local Conservancy.
Entry fees are listed in the event information with amounts shown as R100 and R150; pricing may vary by distance. The organizer notes that entrants agree to an indemnity and waiver and to the event terms and conditions. There are no toilet facilities at the location.
