Run With The Squirrels
Run With The Squirrels is a trail race scheduled for April 25, 2027, at Morgan Monroe State Forest near 6220 Forest Road, Martinsville, IN. Permits are pending for the event.
Distances offered:
- 5K
- 10K
- 10 miles
- 13.1 miles (half marathon)
The event is presented as a low cost, low frills trail race. There will be no finisher medals. Basic aid stations will be available for the 10K, 10 mile, and half marathon courses. The organizer states the race fee does not include a T shirt in order to reduce waste.
Registration information provided by the organizer lists an open registration date of June 14, 2026 and a close date of October 31, 2026. Listed entry fees are $50.00 for the half marathon, $40.00 for the 10 miler, $30.00 for the 10K, and $20.00 for the 5K.
T shirts are optional and available as a $15 add on if purchased before April 2. Limited quantities may be available on race day. The event logo for 2027 will be created by a Bloomington North art student, and the organizer plans a new logo each year. Woohoo Trail Fun LLC will donate 50 percent of proceeds from all shirt sales to the art program that designs that year’s logo.
