Run With The Squirrels
Run With The Squirrels is a low cost, low frills trail running event held on April 25 at Morgan Monroe State Forest in Martinsville, Indiana (6220 Forest Road, Martinsville, IN 46151). Permits are pending.
Distances offered are:
- 13.1 Miles (half marathon)
- 10 Miles (10 miler)
- 10K
- 5K
Basic aid stations will be provided for the 10K, 10 mile, and 13.1 mile events. There will be no finisher medals. Race fees do not include a T shirt.
Registration opens June 14, 2026 and closes October 31, 2026. Event fees listed by the organizer are $50 for the half marathon, $40 for the 10 miler, $30 for the 10K, and $20 for the 5K.
Event artwork for the year is created by a Bloomington North art student and the organizer intends to feature a new logo each year. T shirts are available as an optional add on for $15 if added before April 4. The organizer will donate 50 percent of proceeds from all shirt sales to the art program that helps design the logo. Shirts will be printed locally by BadKnees Tees. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
