Run with the Docs 5k & 1 Miler
Run with the Docs is a community event held on June 14, 2026 at Virtua Voorhees Hospital in Voorhees, New Jersey. The event offers the following distances:
- 5 km
- 1 mile
Registration opens February 20, 2026 and closes on the day of the event. Fees listed by the organizer include $35 for the 5k and $25 for the 1 mile fun run/walk. Race-day registration will accept cash or check only. Packet pickup dates for shirts and bibs will be announced; registrations received online after May 25 may receive shirts the week following the event.
Prizes will be awarded in multiple categories, including first overall male and female, top finishers by age group, largest team, top fundraising teams, and a top fundraising team award. Canine participants will receive a bandana. A cash-only 50/50 raffle and a basket raffle will be held; no pre-sales of tickets are permitted and winners must be present to claim prizes.
Proceeds benefit Virtua’s Perinatal Bereavement and Palliative Care Program. The program supports families experiencing pregnancy or infant loss, provides education for clinicians on compassionate communication, offers financial assistance for funeral or burial costs, purchases grief resources and specialized equipment, and presents a biennial conference for healthcare workers.
