Run with the Docs 5k & 1 Miler
Run with the Docs is held on June 14, 2026 at Virtua Voorhees Hospital in Voorhees, NJ. The event includes a 5K race and a 1 mile fun run/walk. Proceeds benefit Virtua’s Perinatal Bereavement and Palliative Care Program, which provides services and support to families experiencing pregnancy or infant loss.

Registration details note that online registration deadlines and fees apply. Listed fees include $35 for the 5K and $25 for the 1 mile event. Race-day registration will accept cash or check only. Packet pickup dates for shirts and bibs are TBA; participants who register after May 25 may receive shirts after the race, beginning the week of June 15. Canine participants will receive a bandana.
Prizes will be awarded in multiple categories, including first overall male and female, team awards, top fundraising teams, and age-group awards for men and women across specified groups. New for 2026, a cash only 50/50 and a basket raffle will take place; no pre-sale tickets are permitted and winners must be present to claim prizes.
The beneficiary program supports education for clinicians, financial assistance for burial costs, grief resources, cooling beds, a biennial conference, partner services for NICU families, memorial plaques, and regional family support.
