Run with the Chums
Run with the Chums is an annual community running event taking place on September 12, 2026 at BP Highlands in Birch Bay, Washington. The event is free and family friendly, open to participants of all ages and speeds. The scenic 5K course follows parts of the Whatcom County shoreline and offers views of local beaches.
Children aged 10 and under may participate in the Smolt Sprint, a short obstacle course designed for younger participants. On-leash pets are welcome at the event. Free T-shirts are available on a first come, first served basis.
